Gary Hennessey has been practicing mindfulness for over forty years, and has been teaching for thirty five. In 2002 he trained with Vidyamala Burch in teaching mindfulness to those with long-term health conditions. He is currently Breathworks Director of Training, and spends much of his time training people to become mindfulness teachers. He is the author of The Art of Reflection.
Mark Woods is the author of the bestselling Pregnancy for Men, Babies and Toddlers for Men. With a background in journalism, and a stint writing for the award-winning Monkey and Al ad campaign, Mark joined Comic Relief in 2003 and is Head of Creative and Chief Writer.
Rachel Fitz-Desorgher has spent the last 30 years working as a midwife, infant feeding consultant, active birth teacher and parenting consultant. Always more interested in the parent-baby relationship than “catching” babies, Rachel co-created Henley Birthcare, a unique freelance midwifery and doula service offering bespoke care. She teaches other midwives and lectures on infant feeding and tongue-tie. Her approach to feeding, soothing and parenting babies is unique, practical and hugely successful.
Dr Matthew Beadman works as a Clinical Psychologist in the NHS and has published peer-reviewed research in a number of clinical areas, including exploring core ACT processes. He has a keen interest and expertise in applying ACT for pain management and delivering brief, practical interventions which create meaningful change for his clients in a shorter period of time.
Dr Philippa Kaye works as a GP in London. She is a regular contributor to BBC Radio and magazines and is currently the resident medical expert for leading pregnancy magazine Junior.
Dr Michael Sinclair provides ACT interventions to people of all ages, couples and families as well as ACT-based coaching to corporate executives and ACT supervision to other psychologists. He is the Clinical Director at City Psychology Group and the co-author of Mindfulness for Busy People (Pearson), Working with Mindfulness (Pearson) and The Little CBT Workbook (Crimson).
